Indigenous cattlemen and women from across Australia’s north will travel to the East Kimberley town of Kununurra to participate in an Indigenous Producer's Workshop from November 23 to 26 - a joint initiative by the Department of Agriculture and Food, WA and Indigenous Land Corporation's National Indigenous Pastoral Enterprises (NIPE).
The workshop aims to expand the operating principles of the Business Management Advisory Project (BMAP) into WA. BMAP is an initiative of the Indigenous Pastoral Program-a collaborative partnership of key stakeholders involved in the Northern Territory’s pastoral sector. By participating in BMAP pastoralists learn to better manage risk and to increase the profitability and sustainability of their land.
