Organisation: Western Australian Meat Marketing Cooperative
Grower Group R&D Grant amount: $30 000

Western Australian Meat Marketing Cooperative will look at ways to increase the productivity of primary lamb production and overall profitability of its Co-operative members. This will be achieved through investigating key factors as to why carcasses do not meet optimum specifications and investigating the optimal cut specifications and product lines to maximise whole carcass profitability.

The $17.4 million Grower Group R&D Grants Program is a major component of the Agricultural Sciences R&D Fund managed by DAFWA.
