Investment attraction

A key priority for the State Government, through the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia (DAFWA) is to work with industry to attract investment into Western Australia.

To support this, DAFWA initiated the InvestWest Agribusiness Alliance, and in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia, aims to foster relationships to coordinate investment in the State.

DAFWA is committed to ensuring WA’s agriculture and food sector produces high-quality agriculture products. With an increasing global population and growing demand for agrifood products, Western Australia is in a position to build on its reputation as a clean and green state free for major pests and diseases and a reliable supplier of premium-quality food.
