The two forums, one in Katanning and one in Wongan Hills, featured guest speakers and facilitators who spoke about declared pests including wild dogs, feral pigs and rabbits.
The speakers also addressed the benefits and challenges of the current recognised biosecurity group model for pest management.
The forums included new approaches to community led responses and how to improve community engagement practices.

Speakers included Murry Darling Feral Pig Management Group expert Darren Marshall who spoke about wild dogs, Melbourne-based expert Lisa Adams who spoke about rabbit control and various Department of Agriculture and Food experts.
Eastern Wheatbelt Biosecurity Group spokesperson Jim Sullivan also spoke about wild dog control efforts in the Wheatbelt and University of New England researcher Lynette McLeod about the links between human behaviour and participation in invasive animal management.
