The project aims to expand export sales of WA’s green lip abalone products from the company’s operations in Augusta, and increase awareness of the Two Oceans Abalone brand in Asian markets. It will contribute to the economic development and growth in regional WA by providing further employment opportunities, promoting growth to local businesses and attracting further investment to the region.

Robotic Palletiser

Tosum Pty Ltd intends to install and implement a robotic palletiser in their pack house in order to lower production costs, and improve their international competitiveness. This will enable Tosum to more effectively compete on price with the use of the palletiser and increase productivity whilst decreasing the cost of production.

Northern Valley Packers Pty Ltd

Investigate NIR Technology - target citrus sales to specific export markets

The project will investigate NIR technologies and suppliers, enabling Northern Valley Packers Pty Ltd to deliver specific classes of fruit to targeted markets. Tailored export branding, market research and brand development will support both MOORA and COOEE citrus brands to compete in, as well as target specific international markets.

Building Client Relations to Increase Wine Exports to China

By building relationships with key pre-qualified Chinese distributors and influencers, Domaine Naturaliste plans to grow their distribution footprint in China through hosting visits to the Margaret River region. This will involve direct interaction with the winemaking team and other activities showcasing the provenance of the region and other selected wineries.

Flow - pack sweetcorn packing line

West Australian Corn Growers aims to supply a trayless 100% recyclable sweetcorn packaging option to meet overseas specifications. This packaging system will enable West Australian Corn Growers to penetrate the Singaporean and other markets with a price and quality advantage over competitors and provide a greater range of corn products than currently supplied.

Latitude 28 Produce

Expanding the provenance data captured on our Blockchain application to include tracking of livestock from birth.

L28 seeks to demonstrate to producers and industry how blockchain technology can improve premiums and reduce non-Australian beef and lamb being falsely sold as Australian produce in the Chinese market. L28 is building version 2.0 of its blockchain application to expand provenance data by including RFID tagging information to track livestock from birth to consumers’ plates.

Macadamia Nut Coating Facility

 

In order to meet the growing demand across premium retail markets in Asia, this project will construct a macadamia nut coating facility which will be used to value add to Macadamia nuts produced in Western Australia. The plant will be used as a contract facility as well as to manufacture Macadamia nuts products for the Bahen & Co business.

Dorper Lamb Company – growing export supply chains of WA premium branded lamb to Asian consumers

This project will capitalise on an existing lamb brand and grow exports to existing and prospective high value customers and end consumers in Asia of a premium WA product and brand underpinned by a breed (the Dorper) through multiple market channels in Asia.

Wines Promotion China

Dickinson Estate wines aims to increase acceptance and sales of their wines to Chinese consumers by promoting their wines alongside their established in-market partner. Proudly claiming "Wines of Western Australia" on their labels will bring positive attention to the Blackwood Valley wine region and to Western Australia.

Marketing, promotion and introduction of additional WA fresh premium products

The project will complement existing marketing and promotions activities and enable the introduction of additional premium fruit, vegetables and complementary value added products sourced from WA into the Singaporean market place. Pemberton Fresh Pty Ltd will take customers on an education journey about the freshness of WA premium fruit and vegetables.

The development of an innovative promotional package to position the Whicher Ridge Brand in three Asian markets as a high quality, provenance focused, premium wine producer

The project aims at launching the Whicher Ridge wine brand into selected Asian markets with an integrated wine marketing and promotional package tailored specifically to appeal to wine consumers and trade customers in Asian markets. The package will position the brand as a leading regional maker of high quality wines, with a story of its provenance in a region renowned for the production of world-class wines and wine tourism experiences.
