The Key achievements 2010-16 report is a snapshot of some of the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia's (DAFWA's) many achievements from 2010 to 2016.

DAFWA is an economic development agency underpinned by science, innovation and commercial awareness.

We are a key contributor to the state government’s efforts to develop the economy in ways that offer long-term benefits to all Western Australians. We partner with industry and agrifood businesses to drive profitability and productivity, enabling the sector to double in value between 2013 and 2025.

Our many achievements – from research and development (R&D) breakthroughs such as developing the world’s first sheep worm vaccine to delivering our highly impactful strategic farm planning workshops to more than 1100 WA agrifood businesses - could not have been achieved without our close partnerships with industry, agrifood businesses, R&D institutions, the community and government.

We look forward to continuing to work closely with our partners to grow and protect WA’s vibrant agrifood sector.

The Key Achievements 2010-16 report is available in PDF and Word formats.
