New Viticulture Spray Guide
DAFWA's Viticulture spray guide 2015/2016 is now available to WA wine and table grape producers. The department has been producing this biennial guide since 2001, it's conception came from an industry need for a single reference detailing permitted agrochemicals for use to manage pests and disease in Western Australian vineyards.
Previously this publication has been printed and distributed through various channels. This new edition is provided in an electronic format only providing the benefits of:
- downloadable directly from the departments website
- ease of updating content to keep the guide relevant
- an interactive document with links to additional information and external websites
- having searchable content
- continuation of providing this publication free to industry.
The content of the new guide is similar to previous editions where users will have access to content detailing:
- pesticide safety and regulation
- application considerations
- pesticide resistance
- spray options for:
- diseases
- insects, mites and molluscs
- herbicides
- plant growth regulators
- pest monitoring and treatment calendar.
The guide is available for download as either a pdf (recommended) or an accessible word document.
