Improving the capability of the citrus value chain
Organisation: WA Citrus
Grower Group R&D Grant amount: $265 000

WA Citrus will look at the ability of citrus growers to supply greater volumes of high value product to both domestic and export market.  This will include looking at each component of the value chain and the capacity of the value chain to handle the extra volume of fruit.

It will also include investigating the tools available to help growers in decision making for improving practices and how to improve the confidence of international customers in the quality and safety of WA citrus fruit.

The $17.4 million Grower Group R&D Grants Program is a major component of the Agricultural Sciences R&D Fund managed by DAFWA.
