Brenda is a wheat agronomy Research Officer based at the Katanning district office. She currently works on the DPIRD/GRDC project Tactical wheat agronomy for the west. The project brings together members of the wheat agronomy team from Esperance, Northam, Merredin and Geraldton. The objective is to increase industry profitability by delivering updated decision support information on key agronomic management practices for commercially available and near to release wheat varieties. This is a state wide field based research project focused on wheat varieties and their management. Research will address agronomic issues identified in conjunction with the WA Crop Agronomy Reference Group.
