Cauliflower
The Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia assists the cauliflower industry by developing improved irrigation management techniques to reduce water and nutrient loss. It promotes integrated pest management (IPM) techniques in cauliflower crops, helping growers to produce high quality curds.
The major growing area in Western Australia is the South-West followed by the Swan Coastal Plain. Most cauliflower is sold fresh on the local market and some export to Singapore and Malaysia.
