My role in the department
Deb is a Technical Officer working in the 'Increasing farming systems profitability and longevity of benefits following soil amelioration' project, an investment of DPIRD and GRDC. Her roles in the project include managing sowing and harvest operations for various field trials, sample collection and processing, and managing casual staff.
My background
Deb joined DPIRD in 2019. She initially worked on a barley breeding project, assisting in collecting physiological, agronomical and morphological trait data to determine the heat tolerance of barley genotypes. She then joined her current project in March 2021 and has since actively supported research in post-soil amelioration agronomy.
