The main feature of the workshop will be the opportunity to taste a selection of Chardonnay and Shiraz clones produced from a
current national research project. Chardonnay clones produced from both Mount Barker, Henty (Vic) and Margaret River, and Shiraz clones from the Grampians (Vic) and Margaret River will be tasted and compared.
Speakers will also provide updates on local pest management and new biosecurity tools nearing release. Curtin senior lecturer and research fellow Dr Amir Abadi will present research utilising precision viticulture to analyse costs of production.
Please note places are restricted due to limited wine tasting volumes.
