Remarks

Not very effective on large areas because regrowth occurs. Higher rates of 50L/ha to a water depth of 1m may work but expensive.

More information and other control methods

Addition of chlorsulfuron or metsulfuron methyl at 1g/10L to glyphosate gave 98–100% control in experiments on Hydrocotyle ranunculoides, but not registered for use over water bodies. Also picloram + 2,4-D amine gave good control.
