A pilot program is developing the skills of women in agriculture and empowering them to develop business approaches to enhance and grow their businesses and industries.

The Empowering Women in Agriculture – Australia and Indonesia Program is a joint venture between the East Javan Government, and  the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia (DAFWA).  The project is being managed by Influential Women Pty Ltd and led by Catherine Marriott.

A video, created by Sabine Albers, provides a brief overview of the journey of seven women from Western Australian farming properties who visited Indonesia in June 2014, met with seven women’s groups in East Java and formed mentoring relationships.
