Drought Concessional Loans Scheme application deadline extended

The Drought Concessional Loans Scheme (DCLS) application period has been extended to 31 October 2016.

The DCLS is an Australian Government initiative which is administered in Western Australia by the Rural Business Development Corporation through the Department of Agriculture and Food, Western Australia.

Loans are available for eligible farm businesses for the purposes of restructuring existing eligible debt, providing new debt for operating expenses or drought recovery and preparedness activities, or a combination of these.

The 2016 DCLS opened to applications on 12 April and was scheduled to close on 30 June 2016. Complete applications must now be submitted online by the new closing date of Monday, 31 October 2016.
