The Drought Concessional Loans Scheme (DCLS) application period has been extended to 30 June 2017.

The DCLS is an Australian Government initiative which is administered in Western Australia by the Rural Business Development Corporation through the Department of Agriculture and Food.

Loans are available for eligible farm businesses for the purposes of restructuring existing eligible debt, providing new debt for operating expenses or drought recovery and preparedness activities, or a combination of these.

To be eligible for a Drought Concessional Loan, applicants must demonstrate that the farm business meets all of the scheme eligibility and assessment criteria.

More information on the scheme in Western Australia, including application details, is available from the department website agric.wa.gov.au/rbdc or by contacting the RBDC on (freecall) 1800 198 231.
