This public consultation was coordinated by Animal Health Australia, which sought views from all people and organisations interested in the welfare of poultry about how well the:
- draft Australian Animal Welfare Standards and Guidelines for Poultry will ensure the welfare of poultry
- associated Regulation Impact Statement (RIS) demonstrates the need for standards, and identifies alternative options, key costs and benefits for poultry producers, government and the wider community.
