Exporting animals
Many animals from Western Australia, including livestock, birds, fish, insects and native animals and even some pets can carry exotic pests and diseases that could pose a biosecurity threat to other states and territories of Australia. Entry conditions may apply to these animals, animal feed and their bedding. The entry of some animals may also be prohibited by some states, while others may require special permits. It is advisable to check with each state prior to exporting or moving interstate with your animals. Additional information may be available in the related articles on this page.
