Canola blackleg spore maturity forecast for Western Australia – 20 June 2018 (accessible table)

This prediction is based on the weather data (1 January to 18 June 2018) from the nearest weather station and assumes four millimetres (mm) of rainfall per week from now on. The map shows the current predicted dates of spore maturation. Spore showers will start after the spores are mature. The maturity date can help growers to decide if and when foliar fungicide application is warranted depending on disease pressure (regional and paddock - specific) and varietal resistance.
