Industry Funding Schemes enable agricultural industries to raise funds to address priority pests and diseases at a whole-of-industry level.

Western Australian producers and other stakeholders in the dairy, beef, grain, seed, hay, sheep and/or goat industries and supply chains are invited to apply for positions on Industry Funding Scheme management committees.

Industry Funding Schemes enable agricultural industries to raise funds to address priority pests and diseases at a whole-of-industry level.

The schemes are industry-driven and overseen by a management committee made up of producers and other stakeholders with appropriate industry knowledge and expertise.

Members of the committees are appointed by the Agriculture and Food Minister and support is provided to the schemes and management committees by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development.

From 1 July 2018, there will be one vacancy on each of the following management committees:

Committees meet quarterly on dates agreed to by members, and members are remunerated, including sitting fees and travel expenses.

The committee terms of reference, selection criteria for members of the Industry Management Committees, and guidelines for committee member nominations are available on the DPIRD website.

Expressions of Interest should consist of a two page letter addressing the selection criteria in addition to a current resume of a maximum of two pages.

Submit your EOI for one or more of the management committees to Rebecca Heath by 9am on Thursday 8 March 2018.
