This means that summer 2023/24 will be amongst the hottest 20% of seasons for this time of the year. For minimum temperatures, the chances are 60-70%. This means that this summer has the potential to be exceptionally hot, as there may be no relief over night as minimum temperatures are also forecast to exceed the average.
