Plan, Prepare, Prosper – Course material to strengthen Western Australian businesses

The Plan, Prepare and Prosper program was delivered by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development as a suite of free workshops, to assist rural businesses in farming, fishing and food processing to plan for and manage through variability in seasons, global markets and other challenges.

The workshops provided training intended to strengthen businesses, and help them to find ways to increase profitability, manage risk, and support families and communities.

Plan, Prepare and Prosper workshops were part of the Western Australian government’s commitment to the prosperity and sustainability of the rural business sector.

The Plan, Prepare, Prosper program has finished, but the course content is available for use by groups to strengthen local business and communities. The program logic used by the program is illustrated in Figure 1.
