What is missing in soil health in your region?
Soil underpins the resilience of our agricultural systems and communities, but with variability across regions, climates and farming systems, there are localised requirements for addressing gaps better understanding and managing our soil resource. No one better understands what is locally needed than you!
There is a national survey currently open to understand soil issues, knowledge gaps and research and extension opportunities across Australia. The survey closes 30 September 2023.
Results from this survey will help inform the design and delivery of targeted soil interventions to address priorities under the National Soil Strategy.
The survey takes approximately 20 minutes, has 24 questions, and is anonymous. The aggregated results will be reported to the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) as part of the Regional Soil Coordinator project in conjunction with information collated from other sources to summarise soil gaps and opportunities.
