My role in the department
I am the communications advisor responsible for communication and marketing activities within the Research Development and Innovation directorate of the department. I work closely with DPIRD scientists and research project leaders to provide strategic communications advice. I work collaboratively with our scientists and senior staff to develop, plan and execute communication strategies that support engagement, awareness and extension of their research.
I am currently involved in the planning and delivery of communication activities for the $20 million Boosting Grains Research and Development project. Through targeted R&D, this project aims to increase on farm grain productivity and profitability and will further expand the departments regionally based research and development capability.
